Impact

Academic Project.

Timeline

3 Months.

Design Research.

We launched a survey of 35 participants aged 15-22 to quickly gather insights from a broad audience, helping identify key trends and areas of focus before conducting in-depth interviews.

First Prototype.

Building on our research, we crafted an experience that supports users through product purchasing, professional after-care, and a full end-to-end service so they’re never left at a vulnerable stage.

Reflection.

This academic project thoroughly immersed me into the end-to-end design process, beginning with identifying user needs and leading all the way to wireframing a digital solution. What appears on this page is only a fraction of the broader, deeper work behind it.

Final Features.

The final features we focused on include a locator that helps people find care resources nearby and a calendar that supports tracking their health journey, which we know is time-sensitive.

Project Overview.

In this project, I explored how we can fight HIV stigma through education and inclusive, user-friendly design, using insights from the research we did. More specifically focusing on how to increase accessibility of HIV Self Test Kits.
