Project Overview.

We focused on reimagining the profile page as a customizable 3D room to showcase listeners’ streaming achievements and highlight their musical individuality. Our target demographic is defined by fan segmentation and community-oriented listeners who want to be part of the conversation while also acting as a solo curator.

The Goal.

How might we transform music streaming into a canvas for self expression, where users can creatively showcase their identity and taste?

Feature 1.

Earn collectibles and badges. Level up with exclusive badges and digital collectibles for attending concerts, festivals, or virtual drops. Like what you see? Shop the look and buy merch items in real time.

Feature 2.

Join communities based on artists and playlists. Visit each others’ Alcoves. Share your Alcove on with friends or on socials.

Reflection.

Working with a randomly generated team—different majors and schools, none of us having met before—taught me how fast creativity can bring people together. We clicked, had fun building something we believed in, and ended up winning 1st place out of 200+ people and 54 teams.
